The reason that Heloise and Abelard got seperated is because the two familly hated each other. I think, similar story with Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet loved each other, but the two familly are against to it, so they could not get married. In the end, Romeo and Juliet died and the two familly become intimate.
I have something to remind you.
 A romance noble always have a catastrophe ending. If they were happy this would be a great story. Or the reason that they were separated is because the familly wanted her to marry a rich man.
