A traffic light is a device for trapping you in the middle of the intersection.
This sentence is also humorous. I like it.
When I went to the Okinawa in Japan, I totally understood it. There were four in our party. So we rented a car, but the direction where cars pass by is opposite to Korea. We knew it already and prepared for it, but we'd almost driven the wrong way in the middle of the intersection. We finally adapted the system and it was a pretty memorable experience.
Thank you!
