If I get a treasure map that is marked where the treasure is, I will go on an adventure to find it with my friends who like adventures too.
Firstly, adventures per se is fun. It means that I like to explore and go on adventures to find or achieve something.
Also, even if the map is fake, it (the adventure) would remain to me as a good experience.
These are the reasons why I want to go on an adventure if I get a treasure map.
