I don't think that pirate's treasures are burried or hidden somewhere.
Firstly, if pirate's treasures are hindden somewhere, fishermen, farmers or someone who reasearch about ground or earth's surface may found treasure. So, the possibility that treasures are hidden still may very low.
Second of all, treasure might come out to the underwater's ground if it was burried. It means, the ground is shaking now, too. And we call the serious level of shaking ; earth quake. As the result of earth quake the burried treasure may come out of under ground.
That's why I think that pirate's treasures may not burried or hidden somewhere.

That's why I think that pirates' treasures are not buried or hidden somewhere.
