It's easy to be outstanding in the class. There are three ways:
-Answering questions well
-Handing over good-quality homework or project on time
-Listening to the teacher well
Teacher will like you and you will also improve your ability and skills by answering the questions. If you become a good student, good in friendship/ with good characteristics and scholastic socially and academically then, you will have many friends too. You will naturally become popular in class, or even in the entire school.
There's second another way- the negative one- you can be despite involved in fighting fights. It will also make you to be a well-known person. But I don't think it would be a good way because you will have troubles during class and you can't make 'good' and 'sincere' friends. Thus, it will affect in your social life in the future. So, being a good students and studying hard it are the best ways to excel in school.
