In the past, people hunted animals to eat and feed their familes. So there were no animals extinct because of human. But these days, people started to hunt animal for fun. Actually, in the middle age, kings enjoyed hunting animals. But this is not a the main problem. Developing technology is one of the main causes. People cut down the forests and made turn them into cities, airports, and farmlands. So animals have no lose their natural habitats to live. For example, white island sparrows became extinct because humans cut down their trees for wood and made it in to build airports.
People should regret there their faults and take care of animals. It's no too late.
