In modern society, many things developed in good ways. However, we still have some faults. For major problem, there are discriminations including sexual, racial, and religious discriminations. The world became international, people from different countries can communicate with each other on-line (using Facebook, Wechat, etc) or off-line. We can visit other countries to study, or to go sightseeing. Thus, there are many TV programs about travelling. But still, there are racial discrimination between eastern and western though we are having many interchanges these days. I could see news about travelling program which accidentally took video of racist people making racial action to eastern people. It was stupid, the video was playing racist things but its subtitle was; there are many friendly people who helped us sightseeing voluntarily.
Here's another situation of discrimination. Once we were learning about differences between Sparta and Athena in history class, we saw a paragraph that said; Spartan women learnt to fight like boys and could deal with money but Athena women were just for "producing" babies. At that paragraph boys said girls should not attend school, neither get educations, and should stay at home doing housechores like Athena women. We were almost about to start fight, but stopped by teacher???s restrain. It was so dumb, making sexual discriminations about each other but wrong is wrong, we need fix is from now on.
I'm sure we will get along better if we make society without any discrimination along different countries, religions, and gender.
