Teacher Jhen I forgot my homework so here you go~
Chapter 5
Meanwhile, Jenna was again swimming at Gille Lake. Clips was laying on a rock basking on a light ray from a hog dragon. If Clips could talk, he would certainly say, "This is the life!" Jenna came up for air and took a deep breath. Then she yelled, "Clips, didn't I tell you that hog dragons eat green ping dragons?" Clips suddenly flew up and darted toward Jenna. Jenna couldn't help giggling, for she knew hog dragons only ate grass. Clips must have remembered, because he gave her a light smoke puff before going away. Now that she thought about it, Jenna had to go to school. But then she remembered she had run away. No school! Jenna nuzzled the smooth seashell she had found at the bottom of the lake. It reminded her of her mother. Soft, kind, and funny. Oh, how she missed her! Jenna decided to write to her mother. Clips had been trained long ago to be a carrier dragon. Now all Jenna needed was some parchment, a feather, and a cup of ink.
Chapter 6
"Shhhh''" Jenna whispered to Clips. They were on top of a tree, next to a crow's nest. The chicks on the nest were slurping up some worms. As soon as their mama left, Jenna and Clips jumped into action. Clips blew smoke al around the nest, so the crows' mama couldn't see them. Jenna plucked a single, perfect feather and climbed down. What fun! The two friends then flew away. The next ingredient was a little trickier. Parchment was made by parchment dragons. Jenna decided to send Clips, and Clips only on the mission. While he was doing that, she would go and find the Ink Lake, which wasn't far from Dragon Hill. Jenna would need comfortable footwear, which, luckily , she could make with dragon withers, a type of moss. When Jenna reached Ink Lake, she found fish swimming in it. She thought that Clips would like a snack, so she caught a few with her hands. Clips was not having an easy time getting parchment. The dragons would only burp out a roll of parchment every hour. The first two hours were never even close. The third and fourth looked hopeless. When he reached out to take the fifth, a parchment dragon saw him and bellowed out. Suddenly every dragon stared at Clips. He ran for his life. Of course they followed him. Luckily, Clips was a speed dragon. He could outrun them, maybe.
Chapter 7
Jenna was curled up into a ball and sleeping by the time Clips got home. Clips glanced at the ink fish and back at Jenna. He slurped the fish up, laid down, and started to sleep. After they woke up, Jenna dug up some nearby dragon withers and roasted to a crisp-Clip's job.
