I promised I would do the exam very well with to my mom but I didn't do well exam.

> We use the word "would" for an action that we planned or did in the past. Also, please be mindful in using the conjunction "but." We don't use it to begin a new sentence.

I said, "I'm sorry, mom. I promise to answer the test very well next time. " to my mom.

> Please check your sentences all the time to make sure you are able to put all the words necessary to complete it's idea.
